Description
The emergency services have completed their work following an earlier incident where a person was hit by a train. This has allowed all lines between Clapham Junction and Barnes to reopen. Trains running between these stations may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 17:00.

Customer advice:
Following a person being hit by a train earlier today, which meant the lines between Clapham Junction and Putney were closed in both directions. All lines have now reopened and service are now running through the affected area. However, some services may still be subject to changes whilst South Western Railway work to recover the services back to the normal timetable.
Services:
Local South Western Railway services will be cancelled, and longer distance trains to Reading and Windsor will be diverted where possible, which will extend journey times

Plan ahead and use alternative routes where possible. If your journey involves Clapham Junction to Putney, you will need to use London Underground, London Overground, or bus services instead. For London Waterloo to Reading or Windsor services, expect diversions and extended travel times.
