Description
The emergency services have completed their work following an earlier incident in the Colchester area, this has allowed all lines to reopen. Trains running to / from / through Colchester may still be delayed by over 80 minutes, cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Train services through Colchester have been disrupted due to a vulnerable person in the station area earlier.
The emergency services now have the person in a place of safety and all lines have reopened.
Service impact:
Due to train and crew displacements, train services will be subject to severe delays, alterations and cancellations as a result.
Alternative travel options:
Limited rail replacement vehicles have been requested to run between Ipswich, Mannintree and Colchester but are not yet confirmed. At present, Greater Anglia do not expect them to be in place before midnight.
