Between Pulborough and Three Bridges

Description

The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Pulborough and Three Bridges. Whilst they attend to the incident all lines are closed. Trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 30 minutes, cancelled or revised.

Customer advice:

If you are travelling in the Horsham area, you will need to use alternative transport to complete your journey.

All lines are currently shut, and any services due to run via Horsham will either be diverted or will terminate at Three Bridges. This will affect services until the end of service tonight.

If you can't get all the way to your destination tonight:

Teams won't leave you stranded. Please travel as far as you can towards your destination, either by train or by using an alternative route.

When you've made your journey as far as possible, please speak to station staff, where available.

If there are no staff, you can use the Emergency button on the station Help Point at stations run by Southern, Thameslink or Great Northern. At stations which are run by other train companies, please use the Information button on the Help Point, and the message will be passed through to the team.

You can also speak to Southern on social media:

Replacement buses are en route:

Southern and Thameslink have been able to resource some replacement buses, so you may be able to use these to get to your destination.

They are then due to operate on the following routes:

  • Three Bridges to Horsham

  • Three Bridges to Barnham via Horsham

Bus suppliers will be Ramel and Bus Hire Group.

Planning your journey:

You can check your journey using the Live Departure Boards, and you can view a live map of the network.

You can also see an alternative route guide.

If you're travelling in the London area, you can plan journeys on alternative routes by using the TfL Journey Planner.

The Southern and Thameslink app will also help you plan your journey.
