Description

A safety inspection of the track between Three Bridges and Horsham means the line towards Horsham is blocked. Trains running between these stations may be revised or delayed by up to 20 minutes.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

Trains are unable to run from Three Bridges towards Horsham until further notice. If you're travelling from Three Bridges towards Horsham, you will need to use an alternative route. You should allow at least an additional 60 minutes to complete your journey today.

Trains are able to run from Horsham towards Three Bridges as normal.

Expected service plan:

We are expecting the following alterations to services:

• Services that normally run between London Victoria and Portsmouth Harbour / Bognor Regis, will run via a different route to normal. These trains will divert via Hove or via Dorking, running non-stop and missing some stations as they do so

• Thameslink services that normally run between Peterborough to Horsham will terminate and start back from Three Bridges

The following stations will not be served by any services until further notice:

• Crawley

• Ifield

• Littlehaven

To get to these stops you can use your ticket at no extra cost on Metrobus 3 and 200 between Three Bridges and Horsham. Please see the ticket acceptance below.

You can travel on the following services at no additional cost;

• Southern services between London Victoria and Sutton, East Croydon, Horsham

• Thameslink services between London Bridge and Horsham

• London Underground between all London terminals

• Metrobus on the following routes:

  • 3 between Crawley, Three Bridges and Gatwick Airport

  • 200 between Horsham, Littlehaven, Faygate (Town), Ifield and Gatwick Airport
