Description

A fault on a train at Crewe means some lines are blocked. Trains running through the station may be delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 09:00.

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

Services on the following routes will be affected by this disruption:

  • Between Manchester Piccadilly and Crewe via Manchester Airport

  • Between Manchester Piccadilly and Crewe via Stockport

Northern services between Manchester Piccadilly and Alderley Edge are not affected.
