Description
There is an electricity supply problem in the Crewkerne area, resulting in all lines being blocked.
Trains running between Crewkerne and Exeter St Davids will be cancelled.
This is expected to cause disruption until the end of the day.
Customer advice:
As a result of an unplanned power outage in the Crewkerne area, South Western Railway are currently unable to run services between Crewkerne and Exeter St Davids. This is due to multiple signalling failures and a level crossing issue that's been caused by the power outage.
West local services:
Services running between London Waterloo and Exeter St Davids will now start and finish at Yeovil Junction until further notice
The 16:25 Exeter St Davids to London Waterloo service will continue running up to Axminster where it will wait for staff before running at a reduced speed towards Yeovil Junction. After this train has run through, a review will take place that will ascertain if trains can continue to run between Axminster and Yeovil Junction
The 17:25 Exeter St Davids to London Waterloo service is planned to run, though this will be delayed from Axminster due to the ongoing signalling issues in the Crewkerne area
