Description

Following the emergency services dealing with an incident between Exeter St Davids and Newton Abbot all lines have reopened. Whilst service recovers trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 40 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 20:00.

CrossCountry customer advice:

You can use your ticket on the following services at no extra cost:

  • Two CrossCountry services operating before or after your cancelled service

  • Great Western Railway service on any available route

If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.

Unfortunately, any seat reservations will not be carried over to another train, but Coach B, H and L are the unreserved coaches on CrossCountry services (where available) so please head to them.

It has not been possible to arrange rail replacement service. Customers who can arrange their own road transport can claim a reimbursement from CrossCountry.
