Description
Urgent repairs to the track at Dawlish means all lines will be blocked later this evening. Trains running between Exeter St Davids and Plymouth may be cancelled.
Disruption is expected from 19:00 today until 07:00 on Thursday 29 January.

Great Western Railway services between Bristol Temple Meads and Plymouth / Paignton / Penzance
Road transport will be in operation between Tiverton Parkway and Plymouth. Please use online journey planners to plan your journey
If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost
Unfortunately, any seat reservations will not be carried over to another train, but Coach B, H and L are unreserved coaches on CrossCountry services (where available) so please head to them.
Great Western Railway customer advice:
Exeter St Thomas, Marsh Barton, Starcross, Dawlish Warren, Dawlish and Teignmouth will not be served.

CrossCountry via any reasonable route
South Western Railway via any reasonable route
Limited replacement road transport will operate between Newton Abbot and Exeter St Davids in both directions.
Customers travelling from Cornwall / Plymouth to Tiverton Parkway and stations beyond Tiverton are advised to alight at Plymouth for the replacement coaches to Tiverton where they can then continue their train by rail.
Customers travelling from stations north of Tiverton Parkway looking to travel to Plymouth / Cornwall should alight at Tiverton Parkway for the replacement coach to Plymouth, where they can then continue their onward journeys.
Tickets valid today, Wednesday 28 January will be valid tomorrow, Thursday 29 January.
Additional information:
To avoid the sea causing further damage to the sea wall Network Rail will be repairing the wall tonight at Sprey Point. The site is difficult to access by road so Network Rail will be commandering a special engineering train to the site of the breach of the sea wall whilst the line is closed and filling the void with 200 tonnes of ballast.
