Description
A fault with the signalling system at East Croydon means that lines are disrupted. Trains running through this station may be delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised as a result.
Disruption is expected until 12:30.

A signalling problem is causing disruption at East Croydon. The disruption will vary according to which route you are using.
You may need to leave around 10-20 minutes of additional time for your journey, although this is not an exact estimate.

Routes affected:
The most significant delays are affecting Southern and Thameslink on the northbound line through platform 4.
This is mainly used by trains from the Redhill area, East Grinstead, Uckfield, Caterham or Tattenham Corner towards London.
However, congestion is also affecting some other lines, and there may also be some minor delays to Gatwick Express services between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport.
Service changes:
To reduce congestion, there will be changes to some Southern "Metro" services.
Trains from London Bridge towards East Croydon (via Tulse Hill) will be amended, and are likely to finish their journeys at Selhurst. Trains heading north to London Bridge (via Tulse Hill) will start from Selhurst instead of East Croydon, or will be cancelled.
Trains from Watford Junction to East Croydon will finish their journeys at Selhurst, and trains heading north to Watford Junction will start from Selhurst instead of East Croydon. These alterations mean that you may need to change trains more often to get to your destination.

Network Rail are working to resolve a fault with the signalling system, affecting some of the lines via East Croydon station. This is causing some congestion, so staff will have to make some service changes.
