Description
A number of incidents between East Croydon and Watford Junction means that a reduced Southern service is in operation between these stations.
Some Southern services will be cancelled as a result.
This is expected for the remainder of the day.
Customer advice:
Southern services on the "West London Line" route between East Croydon and Watford Junction will be disrupted by a train fault, and also by a report of an obstruction on the overheard wires near Harrow & Wealdstone.
Some services will be cancelled, and others will be revised, and will only complete parts of their normal journeys.
We also expect some delays to journeys which are already in progress.

If you are affected by cancellations or service changes, you may need to use a different route to complete your journey. Although this is usually quicker than waiting for the next train, it will still take up to 30-45 minutes longer than usual, so please leave extra time.

One of Southern's trains has a door fault, and it is not easy to resource a spare train which is compatible with this route, so unfortunately, Southern have had to cancel some services.
Additionally, there is a report of an obstruction on the overheard electric wires near Harrow & Wealdstone, which may lead to further delays and service changes.
