Description

A points failure at Eastbourne means that all lines are blocked. As a result, trains running to / from Eastbourne will be cancelled or delayed.

Disruption is expected until 17:00.

Customer advice:

Trains are currently unable to run to / from Eastbourne.

Where possible services will terminate and start back from Hampden Park. This means that Eastbourne will have no train service.

If you are travelling to / from Eastbourne, you will be able to use your ticket at no extra cost with Brighton & Hove Bus routes 12, 12A and 12X which runs between Eastbourne and Seaford. From Seaford there will be Lewes / Brighton bound services.

Please note that by using an alternative route this will extend your overall journey time.
