Description
Following a points failure at Edge Hill all lines have now reopened. However, as service recovers, trains running to / from Liverpool Lime Street may still be delayed by 30 minutes, cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until 16:00.

TransPennine Express customer advice:
If the train you have a ticket for is cancelled, you can travel on any TransPennine Express, Northern, or East Midlands Railway service within the two hours before or after your cancelled service.
To help you complete your journey, rail replacement transport is running hourly between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Victoria in both directions, calling at Newton-le-Willows and Lea Green.
