Description

A points failure at Elsenham is causing disruption to journeys between Cambridge and Stansted Airport / London Liverpool Street. As a result, trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 10 minutes or revised.

This is expected until 08:30.

Service Impact:

Trains are unable to run between Audley End and Bishops Stortford / Stansted Airport.

Alternative Travel Options:

Please be prepared for a delay to your journey. You may need to take a different train than originally planned.

Greater Anglia have arranged for you to be able to use your ticket on the following alternatives, at no extra cost:

  • Great Northern between Ely, Cambridge and London Kings Cross

  • Thameslink between Cambridge and London St Pancras International

  • Victoria line between Tottenham Hale, Finsbury Park and Kings Cross / London St Pancras International

  • Circle, H&C and Metropolitan lines between Liverpool Street and Kings Cross / London St Pancras International

  • Central line between Liverpool Street and Epping

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
