Description
A safety inspection of the track between Chichester and Havant means all lines are blocked. Trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 20:00.

Services that run through this area are subject to disruption while a safety inspection of the track is carried out. We're unable to provide an estimate for when the line will reopen at this time. Stations west of Chichester will not have a Southern service. These are:

Expected service plan
Southern are expecting the below changes to normal timetable in this area:
Services which normally run between Brighton and Southampton are suspended
Services which normally run between Brighton and Chichester are running as normal
There will be a reduced service between Bognor Regis and Barnham: shuttle services which normally run between Barnham and Bognor Regis are suspended
Services which are timetabled to run between London Victoria and Havant/Bognor Regis (splitting and attaching at Horsham) will instead run only to Bognor Regis. These services will not split and attach at Horsham

You should travel on South Western Railway services between London Waterloo and Southampton Central / Havant, and on London Underground as required to travel between London Waterloo and other London Underground stations in London.
Journeys between the Havant / Southampton Central area and Redhill / Gatwick Airport
You should travel on Great Western Railway services between Gatwick Airport, Redhill, and Guildford, and on South Western Railway services between Guildford and Havant.
Journeys between the Havant / Southampton Central area and Brighton / Worthing
You should travel on Southern services between Brighton / Worthing and Chichester / Littlehampton / and Bognor Regis. You should travel on Stagecoach routes 500 and 700 as required to connect between Littlehampton / Barnham / Bognor Regis, and Chichester. Between Chichester and Havant, you should travel using Stagecoach 700.
