Description
The emergency services dealing with an incident between Epsom and Bookham / Dorking means all lines are blocked. As a result, trains will be cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until 10:00.
Southern customer advice:
If you are travelling between Dorking and Epsom you will need to use an alternative route to complete your journey. This is due to emergency services currently dealing with an incident in the Leatherhead area.
Journeys may take longer than normal and you should allow an additional 30 minutes extra to reach your destination.
Please check station screens, listen to staff announcements and and use journey planners for the latest information.
How will your journey be affected:
If you are travelling to/from London, you will need to use an alternative route to complete your journey. Services are currently unable to run between London and Dorking.
There will be a shuttle service running between Horsham and Dorking.
The following stations are currently not being serviced:
Ashtead
Leatherhead
Boxhill & Westhumble
Ticket Acceptance:
You may use your ticket at no extra cost on the following;
Alternative Southern and Thameslink services between London and Horsham.
Great Western Railway services between Dorking and Redhill
South Western Railway services between Dorking and London Waterloo
London Underground services between London terminals
Replacement buses are en route: :
Southern have been able to resource some replacement buses, so you may be able to use these to get to your destination.
These buses are expected to arrive at 06:00 and 06:15 this morning. These are expected to run until 10:00.
They are then due to operate on the following routes:
Epsom to run all stops towards Dorking
Dorking to run all stops towards Epsom
will be Triangle & Ramel Hamilton.

Services are currently unable to run between Epsom, Ashtead, Leatherhead, Bookham and Effingham Junction as well as Boxhill & Westhumble and Dorking.
South Western Railway tickets will be accepted on the following at no extra cost:
Great Western Railway between Dorking Deepdene and Guildford
Southern Railway services between London Victoria and Epsom
London Buses between Dorking, Epsom, Chessington, Surbiton and Kingston
If you are at any of the affected stations then a Southern replacement bus service will operate between Epsom, Ashtead, Leatherhead, Boxhill & Westhumble and Dorking.
South Western Railway are currently arranging a shuttle bus service to call between Effingham Junction, Bookham and Leatherhead where you can change for the bus replacement service between Epsom and Dorking. We will let you know when this is in place.
