Description

A train has hit an obstruction on the line at Eridge. As a result, the line is blocked. Trains running to / from Uckfield may be cancelled or revised to not run between Uckfield and Hurst Green.

Disruption is expected until 08:00.

Customer advice:

Southern services are currently unable to run to / from Uckfield.

If you're travelling now, you will need to travel using an alternative route. Your ticket will be accepted on the below alternatives at no additional cost:

  • Alternative Southern services to / from London via East Croydon

  • Thameslink services between East Grinstead and London

  • Southeastern services between Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, and London

  • Brighton & Hove Buses Regency 29 / 29B / 29X between Brighton, Lewes, Uckfield, and Tunbridge Wells

  • London Underground between London terminals

The following stations currently have no Southern service:

  • Uckfield

  • Buxted

  • Crowborough

  • Eridge

  • Ashurst

  • Cowden

  • Hever

  • Edenbridge Town
