Disruption between Weybridge and Surbiton expected until 14:00

Description

A fault with the signalling system between Esher and Surbiton means that the line towards Wimbledon is disrupted. As a result, trains running between Weybridge and Surbiton may be delayed or revised.

Disruption is expected until 14:00.

Customer advice:

Engineers are currently on site and carrying out testing to investigate the fault. Train services running through this area may be delayed, revised or cancelled at short notice.

Until further notice the following alterations will be necessary:

• Trains from Woking to London Waterloo on the stopping service will not call at Walton‑on‑Thames, Hersham, or Esher. Passengers for these stations should travel to Surbiton and change there for a train back towards their destination

• Basingstoke to London Waterloo stopping services on the xx:54 past every hour will run non-stop from Woking to London Waterloo

• Basingstoke to London Waterloo stopping services on the xx:24 past every hour will run non-stop from Woking to Clapham Junction

• Passengers for Weybridge and Surbiton should change at Woking for the stopping service to these stations

• Passengers for Walton‑on‑Thames should join the stopping Woking to London Waterloo service, change at Surbiton, and travel back towards Walton‑on‑Thames

• The Guildford to London Waterloo via Cobham & Stoke d'Abernon on the xx:34 past every hour will not call at Cobham & Stoke d'Abernon, Oxshott, Claygate, Hinchley Wood, Surbiton
