Description

Following a fault on a train between Exeter St Davids and Exmouth, the line has now reopened. Trains running between these stations may still be cancelled or delayed whilst service recovers.

Disruption is expected until 14:45.

Customer advice:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following Stagecoach Buses:

  • Route 57 between Exeter (bus station), Topsham (station), Exton (Exmouth Road), Lympstone Commando (Marine Camp entrance), Lympstone Village (Saddlers Arms) and Exmouth (Parade)

  • Routes 58, 58A between Exeter (bus station), Digby & Sowton (Park & Ride) and Exmouth (Strand)

  • Route B between Marsh Barton (Hennock Road central), Exeter St Thomas (Riverside Leisure Centre), Exeter city centre (High Street), St James Park (Sorry Head towards Polsloe Bridge, Trust House towards city centre), Polsloe Bridge (Tarbet Avenue)

  • Route C between Marsh Barton (Hennock Road central), Exeter St Thomas (Haven Banks, Malt House), Exeter city centre (High Street), Digby & Sowton (Sowton Park & Ride)

  • Route H between Exeter (St Davids), Exeter (central) and Digby & Sowton (station)

  • Route I and J between Exeter (High Street), Polsloe Bridge (Tarbet Ave), Digby (retail park), Newcourt (Newcourt Way) and Exeter (High Street)

If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.
