Between Truro and Falmouth Docks
Description
A fault on a train between Truro and Falmouth Docks means that fewer trains are able to run between these stations. As a result, a reduced service is in operation and trains will be cancelled.
Disruption is expected until 12:30.
Customer advice:
One of the two trains being used for the Truro to Falmouth Docks service has broken down.
A spare train has been sourced, however this will not be available until approximately 12:00. Therefore, the service will become hourly. Great Western Railway have requested tickets be used on local buses, and will confirm once this is in place.
You may use your ticket on Transport for Cornwall services on the following routes at no extra cost:
32A between Truro, Penryn and Falmouth
33 / 33A between Redruth, Penryn and Falmouth
36 between Truro and Perranwell
If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.
