Description

Following trespassers on the line at Flixton earlier today, lines have now reopened. Trains running between Manchester Oxford Road and Warrington Central may still be delayed up to 30 minutes or cancelled to allow the service to recover.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice for Northern:

Road transport is now in operation. 1 x Bestway Coach will depart Warrington Central at 21:20 calling at all stations to Manchester Oxford Road.

Journey times may be extended by up to 60 whilst travelling by road transport.
