Description
Following a fire next to the track between Hitchin and Cambridge all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 20:30.
Customer advice:
Trains can now run between Hitchin and Cambridge again. You can now travel on your booked route.
Staff are working to return to the scheduled timetable, but please continue to check journey planners and station information boards before you travel.
Some trains in the area will still be disrupted, and your journey may take up to at least 20 minutes longer than usual.
