Description

Lines have reopened following a fire near the track between Ilford and Seven Kings. Whilst service recovers, trains running between Stratford (London) and Tottenham Hale / Shenfield may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 40 minutes or revised.

Major disruption is expected until 22:30.

Tip: Travel towards Stratford — a major transport hub with frequent buses into Central London.

• From Ilford / Maryland / Forest Gate: 25, 86 → Stratford or Central London corridors

• From Romford: 86 → Stratford; then continue your journey by bus to Holborn, Bank, or the West End

South East London (Abbey Wood branch):

Tip: Travel to Greenwich, North Greenwich, or Stratford for onward connections into Central London.

• From Woolwich: 53 → New Cross → Elephant & Castle → Lambeth North; 177, 180, 472 → Greenwich / North Greenwich

• From Abbey Wood: 180, 244, 301, 469 → Woolwich or Greenwich

• From Custom House: 147, 241, 262, 300 → Stratford

Docklands Light Railway (Canary Wharf & Whitechapel):

• From Canary Wharf: 135 → Old Street; D7, D8 → local connections

• From Whitechapel: 25 → Bank → Holborn; 205 → Liverpool Street → Paddington; 254 → Aldgate → City

These routes provide good access to the City and West End.

Passengers with valid tickets dated 7th August, that have been unable to travel today, will be able to use their tickets to travel on Saturday 8th August.
