Description

Lines have reopened following disruption caused by a trespass incident in the Grimsby Town area.

As services recover, trains running through this station may still be cancelled or delayed by up to 40 minutes.

This is expected until 14:00.

TransPennine Express customer advice:

Tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on the following routes:

  • Alternative TransPennine Express services between Cleethorpes and Liverpool Lime Street

  • Northern services between Sheffield and Manchester Piccadilly in both directions

  • Northern services between Manchester Piccadilly / Manchester Oxford Road and Liverpool Lime Street

You should continue to travel as planned, however, your journey may be delayed.
