Between Exeter Central and Okehampton / Barnstaple
Description
Recent adverse weather as a result of Storm Chandra has caused flooding between Exeter St Davids and Barnstaple / Okehampton. This has closed all lines running between these stations.
This means that trains on the route between Exeter Central and Barnstaple / Okehampton are unable to operate, and have been cancelled.
This is expected to continue until at least Monday 16 February.
Customer advice:
The flood water still has not yet receded between Exeter St Davids and Okehampton / Barnstaple, and much of the surrounding area is under water.
A limited return coach service is in operation between Exeter St Davids and Barnstaple, and also between Exeter St Davids and Okehampton. This service will be a full sized coach, which is less seats compared to the train service.

Ticket acceptance:
If you wish to drive to Tiverton Parkway, you may use your ticket at no extra cost on Great Western Railway services between Tiverton Parkway and Exeter St Davids, in both directions.
