Description

A broken down train at Habrough means that lines are disrupted. As a result, trains running between Barton-on-Humber / Barnetby and Cleethorpes may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

East Midlands Railway customer advice:

The train used to operate on the Barton-on-Humber route has developed a fault and needs repairing. Unfortunately, the fault can not be fixed in time to run a train service this evening.

How does this affect my train?

East Midlands Railway do not have an available train to run on this route. They expect their advertised timetable to resume on the affected routes by tomorrow, Thursday 9 October.

How do I get where I need to be?

You should continue to travel as originally planned, however, your journey may be delayed by up to 60 minutes.

East Midlands Railway team have sourced rail replacement buses to run in place of trains. These have been added to live journey planners.

Buses from Barton-on-Humber calling at all stops to Cleethorpes will depart at:

  • 20:05

  • 22:05

Buses from Cleethorpes calling at all stops to Barton-on-Humber will depart at:

  • 21:07

As it is late in the day the number of connecting trains are limited. If you have already started our journey, East Midlands Railway will make every effort to get you to your destination by rail.
