Description
Lines have reopened following a trespass incident between Sutton and Mitcham Junction.
Trains running between these stations may still be cancelled, revised, delayed by up to 45 minutes or diverted.
Disruption is expected until 22:00.
Customer advice:
Trains can now run between Sutton and Streatham once more. However, as this incident has displaced some of our trains and crew you should still an extra 45 minutes to travel, whilst Southern and Thameslink work to get back to their advertised timetable. Please check station screens and planners for the latest information.

A trespass incident had been reported in the area, and trains were stopped for safety. Emergency services and Network Rail have been on site and removed the person.
Trespassing on the railway is extremely dangerous. Trains run at all times, often without warning, and many areas have high-voltage third rails, steep drops, and other hazards.
It is also illegal, with serious penalties for obstructing the railway.
