Description

Lines have now reopened following a fault with a river swing bridge between Reedham (Norfolk) and Haddiscoe.

While service recovers, trains between Reedham (Norfolk) and Lowestoft may still be cancelled.

This is expected to cause disruption until 15:00.

Customer advice:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following services:

  • First Bus route X1 between Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth

  • First Bus routes X2, X21 and X22 between Lowestoft and Norwich


Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.

Additional information:

Network Rail Engineers are en route to the bridge and will look to fix the fault as quickly as possible.
