Description

Following a fault with the signalling system at Harold Wood, trains are now able to run at normal speed on all lines. Whilst service recovers, trains running between Shenfield and Romford may be cancelled in full or delayed by up to 10 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 10:30.

Elizabeth line customer advice:

Please use alternative transport arranged between Shenfield and Whitechapel at no extra cost, and allow more time to complete your journeys for the rest of the line.

To help you complete your journey, you can use you ticket at no extra cost on the following:

  • c2c services between Upminster and London Fenchurch Street

  • Greater Anglia services between Shenfield and London Liverpool Street

  • London Buses between Brentwood and Whitechapel

  • London Overground services between Upminster and Romford

  • London Underground services via any reasonable route

Your ticket can be used, at no extra cost, on Elizabeth line services between Shenfield and London Liverpool Street whilst disruption is ongoing.

Advance purchase tickets holders will also be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
