Between Manningtree and Harwich Town

Description

There are problems with the electricity supply to the overhead wires between Manningtree and Harwich Town, closing all lines running between these stations.

As a result, trains are unable to operate and have been cancelled.

This is expected until 14:00.

Additional information:

Network Rail engineers are en-route to the site of the problem to investigate and fix it as quickly as possible.

Greater Anglia have arranged for you to use your ticket on the following alternative options at no extra cost:

  • First Essex bus route 104 between Harwich Town and Manningtree

  • Konnect Essex and Suffolk bus routes as follows:

    • 2 between Clacton-on-Sea and Manningtree

    • 3 between Clacton-on-Sea and Harwich Town

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
