Lines have now reopened following a trespass incident between Chelmsford and Witham. While service recovers, trains running between these stations may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes, or revised.

Disruption is expected until 11:30.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on local First Bus services between Colchester Town and Colchester.

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
