Description
Following a points failure in the Hazel Grove area all lines have reopened. However, as service recovers, trains running between Sheffield / New Mills Central and Stockport may still be delayed by up to 45 minutes, cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

There was a points failure at New Mills. This is between Sheffield and Stockport and is disrupting trains on the Norwich / Nottingham / Liverpool route.

You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed by up to 45 minutes.

Manchester Piccadilly to New Mills Central services are not affected by this disruption in both directions.
Northern tickets may be used at no additional costs on board any alternative Northern, TransPennine Express or LNER service via any reasonable route to complete your journey.
