Description

Rail replacement services between Hertford North and Alexandra Palace may be delayed or revised.

This is expected until 03:00 on Sunday 1 February.

Customer advice:

Replacement buses have been planned to run on the Great Northern route between Hertford North and Alexandra Palace today. However, these are being disrupted by heavy traffic and supplier issues.

Great Northern are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible, but there may be a long wait for scheduled replacement buses from stations on this route. There isn't an exact estimate for the delay.

Some buses will also be unable to stop at Watton-at-Stone due to flooding on local roads.

To help you with your journey, your ticket will be accepted at no extra cost on:

  • London Buses serving any station between the Enfield area and Central London

  • London Overground services on the Weaver line between Enfield Town and London Liverpool Street

  • Greater Anglia services between Hertford East and London Liverpool Street

  • London Underground services across the area on any reasonable route, including the Northern and Piccadilly lines

Using an alternative route may also take longer than usual. Please use our journey planning tools for more information.
