Description

Following a safety inspection at Hockley, lines have now reopened. Trains may still be cancelled, delayed up to 40 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 13:30

Customer advice:

Greater Anglia have received reports earlier, of trespassers in the Hockley area, and as a result checks had to be made to ensure the railway was safe for the passage of trains.

This has caused significant delays to rail services, including short notice alterations and cancellations.

Ticket acceptance:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on:

  • Circle line between London Liverpool Street and Tower Hill (for Fenchurch Street)

  • Jubilee line between Stratford (London) and West Ham

  • c2c services between London Liverpool Street / Fenchurch Street, West Ham and Southend Central.

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
