Trains between London Waterloo / Salisbury and Exeter St Davids
Description
Slippery rails between Axminster and Exeter St Davids means all lines are blocked. As a result, trains will be cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until 18:00.
Customer Advice:
Due to poor railhead conditions between Honiton and Exeter St Davids, all lines are blocked whilst specialist teams support the incident to allow trains to run again between these stations.
Until further notice, trains will be starting / terminating at Axminster as well as being subject to delay and further alteration.
In order to help you complete your journey at no extra cost to yourself, South Western Railway have ticket acceptance on the following services:

Stagecoach route 44A between Exeter Central, Honiton and Axminster
In addition to the above, there are rail replacement buses running between Exeter St Davids and Crewkerne. Please note, due to the urgent requirement for these, they are not running to a scheduled timetable.
Due to the level of disruption experienced between Basingstoke and Exeter St Davids, tickets dated today (Tuesday 23 September) can be used tomorrow (Wednesday 24 September) at no additional charge.
