Description

A fault on a train between Exeter Central and Honiton means all lines are blocked. Trains will be revised to not run between these stations, cancelled or delayed until the lines reopen.

Disruption is expected until approximately 22:00.

Customer advice:

The fault on the train at Feniton has reoccurred and is now waiting for a rescue train which is coming from Exeter. Once the rescue train picks up the failed train, all lines can then reopen. South Western Railway don't know when the line is expected to reopen yet but urgent arrangements are being made.

As a result services between London Waterloo and Exeter St Davids will finish at and then start back from Honiton, Axminster or Yeovil Junction.

Your ticket can be used, at no extra cost, on the following services:

  • Great Western Railway services between Exeter St Davids and London Paddington

  • Stagecoach Buses on the following routes:
    P between Exeter Central and Pinhoe
    1 & 1A between Exeter Central - Pinhoe - Broadclyst (near Cranbrook)
    4 between Exeter stations and Cranbrook
    44 and 44A between Axminster - Honiton - Cranbrook - Exeter Central

South Western Railway are arranging rail replacement buses between Exeter St Davids and Axminster.
