Great Western Railway between Paignton and Exmouth

South Western Railway between Exeter St Davids and Basingstoke

Description

There was a shortage of signalling staff that operate the route between Exeter St Davids and Exmouth / Yeovil Junction. A replacement signaller has now been arranged. Whilst services start to recover, some trains may still be cancelled.

We expect this to continue until 13:00.

Customer advice for South Western Railway:

Following an earlier shortage of signalling staff, a replacement signaller has now been arranged and will be in place from about 10:00. The first train down to Exeter will be the 09:38 off Yeovil Junction and the first train from Exeter will be 11:25 to Basingstoke.

Great Western Railway between Salisbury and Westbury, Exeter St Davids and London Paddington.

Bus replacement services have been requested to shuttle between Exeter St Davids and Yeovil Junction due approximately at 09:15 at Exeter St Davids.

Bus Ticket Acceptance is in place on the following services:

  • South West Coaches 1 between Yeovil Town and Castle Cary

  • South West Coaches 96 and 96A between Yeovil Town and Crewkerne

  • Stagecoach South West H between Exeter St Davids and Exeter Central

  • Stagecoach South West P between Exeter Central and Pinhoe

  • Stagecoach South West 1 & 1A between Exeter Central - Pinhoe - Broadclyst (near Cranbrook)

  • Stagecoach South West 4 between Exeter stations and Cranbrook

  • Stagecoach South West 9 between Honiton and Exeter Central (long route via Sidmouth)

  • Stagecoach South West 44 and 44A between Axminster - Honiton - Cranbrook - Exeter Central
