Description

Following a trespass incident at Horden all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains running between Hartlepool and Sunderland may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 45 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 15:30.

Services at Horden can now run, following trespassers on the railway earlier.

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
