Description
Great Western Railway services between London Paddington and Didcot Parkway are being affected by the high temperatures today.
To reduced the strain on the points that move the trains between the lines between London Paddington and Reading, Great Western Railway's local stopping services between London Paddington and Didcot Parkway will not call at Slough, Maidenhead or Twyford in either direction until later this evening.
This is expected until 21:00.
Please note, Elizabeth line trains will continue to call at these stations as normal.
Customer advice:
You may use your ticket at no extra cost on Elizabeth line services that serve Slough, Maidenhead and Twyford. Elizabeth line operate from platforms A and B at London Paddington outside the main station concourse.
If you're travelling to / from Maidenhead or Twyford, you may also use your ticket to travel via Reading. There will be no extra cost even if your ticket is showing the restriction 'not via Reading'.
All other Great Western Railway services are not being affected.
