Description
The emergency services earlier today were dealing with an incident between Hove and Angmering. All lines have now reopened as the emergency services have completed their work. As service recovers, trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 18:00.

All lines have now reopened between Hove and Angmering, and we're working to return services running through the area to normal.
However, delays of up to 20 minutes are still possible and services are likely to be affected by short notice alterations and cancellations. Some services may have cancelled stops, will terminate and restart at a different station to normal, or will be cancelled completely.

The emergency services have been dealing with an incident between Hove and Angmering. Power to the railway was switched off in this area to allow response teams safe access to the track. The emergency services have advised that they are no longer on the track and Network Rail have restored power and reopened lines so trains can run normally again through the area.
