Description

Urgent repairs to the track at Hubberts Bridge means that trains are currently unable to run between Sleaford and Boston.

As a result, trains operating between Sleaford and Skegness will be cancelled or revised.

This is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

Trains cannot run through the area in either direction between Sleaford and Skegness for the remainder of the day.

It is expected that the normal train service will run tomorrow, 12 July, with Network Rail confident that they can make necessary repairs overnight.

East Midlands Railway have been unable to provide a robust rail replacement bus service today. If you are travelling beyond Sleaford, East Midlands Railway cannot guarantee that they will be able to get you there.

You should not attempt to travel by train towards Boston and Skegness for the remainder of the day.

If you have started your journey and wish to return, you may use the next available train service. You can reattempt to travel tomorrow, or claim a refund on your ticket.

Your tickets dated today, 11 July, will be valid to use on train services tomorrow, Saturday 12 July.
