Description

All lines have now reopened following a points failure between Ipswich and Manningtree. Train services running through these stations are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 16:15.

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.

Network Rail engineers have completed the repair work to ensure the points are safe to run over. Trains are now able to run through Ipswich and Manningtree as normal, however there may be delays or alterations occurring whilst work takes place towards returning the train service to the booked timetable.
