Description

A points failure between Langley and Slough means that some lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between London Paddington and Reading may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 15:00.

Elizabeth line customer advice:

Elizabeth line services will be reduced between Abbey Wood and Reading, with some trains running only between Abbey Wood and London Paddington, or cancelled throughout.

Due to the reduced service in the area, Elizabeth line services that are not scheduled to stop at Iver or Taplow will stop additionally at these stations, where possible.

Elizabeth line services between Abbey Wood / Shenfield and Heathrow Airport will run as normal.

• Great Western Railway between London Paddington and Reading. Please note that they are also affected by this disruption, and the ticket acceptance is mutual

• South Western Railway between London Waterloo and Windsor & Eton Riverside / Reading

• Local buses between West Drayton and Reading

• London Buses between Hayes & Harlington / Heathrow Airport / West Drayton and Slough

• London Underground via any reasonable route

Local train services which normally operate between London Paddington and Didcot Parkway, will only operate between Reading and Didcot Parkway. Customers travelling to / from Didcot Parkway / Cholsey / Goring & Streatley / Pangbourne / Tilehurst from / to London Paddington (and intermediate stations between London Paddington and Reading) will need to change trains at Reading. Didcot Parkway will continue to have main line services running to / from London Paddington.

• Chiltern Railways between London Marylebone and Oxford

• Elizabeth line between London Paddington and Reading

• London Underground between London Waterloo / London Marylebone / London Paddington

• South Western Railway between London Waterloo and Reading

If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.
