Description

An earlier broken down train between Stratford and Tottenham Hale meant that some lines were disrupted.

Service is returning to normal, however, trains may still be cancelled.

Disruption is expected until 20:15.

Customer advice:

A freight train broke down between Stratford and Lea Bridge earlier have disrupted the West Anglia services to and from Stratford. The train is now clear of the running line, allowing trains to resume running.

Please be aware that trains are also disrupted from an earlier fault with the signalling system at Harlow Town.

Service impact:

Trains have been disrupted, but Greater Anglia are now restoring trains back to the timetable. Some trains may be cancelled while this happens.

Alternative travel options:

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
