Description

All lines have now reopened following the emergency services dealing with an earlier incident close to the railway in the Lincoln area. Trains may continue to be cancelled, delayed by up to 45 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 17:30.

East Midlands Railway customer advice:

Trains running through the area in both direction can now run normally between Lincoln and Newark Castle / Sleaford. There may be delays up to 45 minutes to trains in the Lincoln area.

You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed by up to 45 minutes.

Northern customer advice:

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
