Trains between Crewe and Newark Castle

Description

Following a broken down train between Stoke-on-Trent and Derby all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 11:30.

Customer advice:

There was a broken down train between Stoke-On-Trent and Longton earlier this morning. This is disrupting trains on the Newark Castle / Derby / Crewe route.

A rescue train has attached to the broken down train and cleared the train off the line.
