Between Liskeard and Looe

Description

Flooding between Liskeard and Looe means all lines are closed. Trains running between these stations will be cancelled.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

Heavy rainfall over the last few days combined with high tides mean that the water level at several bridges along the line is above a level which allows trains to run safely. Once the water levels drop the bridges will need to be inspected for any damage.

You may use your ticket, at no extra cost, on Transport for Cornwall bus route 73 between Liskeard (bus stops on the main road adjacent to the station entrance), St Keyne (Community Centre), Sandplace (Station) and Looe (bus stops on main road opposite the station). Show your ticket to the bus driver.

Limited rail replacement buses operated by Tamar Coaches are running between Liskeard and Looe. They will depart Liskeard and Looe at train times and call at Sandplace in both directions. The replacement road transport may run later than the advertised train times owing to the additional time taken by road between stations and the time required for loading and unloading at each stop.

If you are travelling from Coombe Junction Halt, St Keyne Wishing Well Halt or Causeland please use the Customer Help Point.
