Between Liskeard and Looe

Description

The line between Liskeard and Looe remains closed following a period of recent heavy rain which flooded the track.

Heavy rainfall during December combined with high tides and continued rainfall throughout January and February resulted in the water levels at several bridges along the line being above the level which allows trains to run safely. There is also some damage to the bridges which require repairs. Once the water levels drop again, repair work will start.

No trains will operate between Liskeard and Looe. Rail replacement transport will run as stated below.

Currently, trains are not expected to run on this route until at least start of service on Saturday 7 March.
