Description

There was a fault on a train at Lowdham. As a result of this, trains between Nottingham and Newark Castle may be delayed by up to 30 minutes whilst services return to normal.

Disruption is expected until 15:30.

Customer advice:

This is between Nottingham and Newark Castle and is disrupting trains on the Newark Castle - Crewe and Leicester - Lincoln - Grimsby routes.

The train has now moved to Newark Castle and will begin to return to Nottingham where additional checks can be carried out.

How do I get where I need to be?

You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed by 90 minutes.

East Midlands Railway are working on sourcing road transport, however this is taking longer than usual.
