Description

A fault with the signalling system in the Maidenhead area means that some lines are blocked and fewer trains than normal are able to run on all lines.

As a result, trains running between Slough and Bourne End / Reading may be delayed, revised or cancelled.

Disruption is expected until 19:30.

Your ticket will be accepted at no extra cost on the following service:

  • London Underground services via any reasonable route

  • London Buses between Hayes & Harlington and Reading

  • Great Western Railway services between London Paddington and Reading

  • South Western Railway services between London Waterloo and Reading

  • Heathrow Express between London Paddington and Heathrow Terminals (pre-paid tickets only)

  • Chiltern Railways between London Marylebone and High Wycombe

Great Western Railway customer advice:

Train services between Maidenhead and Bourne End have been cancelled.

Replacement transport in the form of taxis has been requested to run between Maidenhead and Bourne End via stations. Once this is confirmed in place more information will be given.

If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.
