Description

A trespass incident in the Mansfield area means that all lines are blocked. As a result trains running between Worksop and Nottingham via Mansfield will be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 17:30.

Trains cannot run in both directions between Mansfield and Nottingham.

At present East Midlands Railway are expecting the problem to be resolved in the next 2 hours . As soon as the problem is fixed their priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again. They expect an advertised timetable to resume on the affected routes by 17:30.

How do I get where I need to be?

You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed by 60 minutes.

East Midlands Railway trains are likely to experience extended delays or alterations. You should use alternative routes which will be most comfortable and the quickest way to get where you need to be.

Your ticket can be used at no extra cost to travel via the following alternative routes:

  • Northern - travel between Worksop and Sheffield, Sheffield and Nottingham in both directions

  • Nottingham Trams (NET) - travel between Hucknall / Bulwell / Nottingham in both directions
